Visiting any church for the first time can be a challenging experience. Where to go? What to wear? What time to show up? What’s here for my kids? What can I expect? You can expect your first visit to Mountain View to be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and “at home”! Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.
1. How do I find the church?
We are located on North Main St across from City Hall and in front of the round-a-bout.
2. What is here for my kids?
Starting with excellent nurseries, there is something special for every age child from toddlers to teens. We have qualified teachers and workers who all have had background checks so you can feel secure leaving your child in their class.
3. What is your morning worship service like?
During our traditional worship service you will enjoy the inspiring music the groups, and soloists. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Redlin. This service is a little over one hour in length. Also, before the morning service, there are Adult Bible Study Classes for couples and singles.
4. How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Mountain View Baptist Church for members or guests. Our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Mountain View!
5. Am I expected to participate in the offering?
No. We don’t invite you to Mountain View Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
If we have missed answering your question here please feel free to call or stop by for a visit. We look forward to having you and our prayer is that our church will be a blessing to you and your family.
